Abstract
The special volume of Psychomusicology: Music, Mind& Brain (PMMB) takes its inspiration from the AIRS (Advancing Interdisciplinary Research in Singing) Major Collaborative Research Initiative, which is generously supported by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada (SSHRC). Although the work of only some of the AIRS collaborators appears in this Volume, the Volume reflects and owes much to the entire collaboration, without which the present Volume would not exist.
