Carol De Veau is a Sessional Instructor in the McDougall Faculty of Business at the University of Prince Edward Island. Before relocating to PEI, she worked in the financial services sector in Toronto. Over a nearly 30-year career, she held various senior management roles within the wealth and investment management industry across numerous disciplines, including investment product development, market research, strategic planning, and institutional investment services.
Carol has extensive experience in the development and execution of strategic plans within large global organizations and has been directly responsible for business case development, requiring significant market research and analysis to launch new products and services. She also has experience developing solutions around customer journeys and financial behaviour working with a leading technology firm.
Carol has a BSc (Mathematics) and an MBA (Finance) from McMaster University and an MSc (Behavioural Science for Management) from Stirling University in the UK.
