Oliver has a veterinary degree from the Royal Veterinary College, University of London and an MBA from the Open University Business School. He brings a wealth of experience to this position, including most recently as Business Transformation Manager at the Queen's Veterinary School Hospital of the University of Cambridge in the UK, which followed his previous role as Veterinary Business Manager at our AVC-VTH.
Through his career, he has obtained substantial leadership experience across operations, project, business and change management through primary care and specialty referral veterinary practice and academia, for both small and large animals. He has experience in management, supervision and mentoring of staff, along with financial oversight and budgetary responsibility across multi-disciplinary, multi-service veterinary hospitals. His early career years as a veterinarian in private practice give him a good grounding for understanding clinical practice.
