Robert MacGregor is a sessional lecturer with UPEI's McDougall Faculty of Business, teaching BUS 3010 (business law) since 2020.
Robert is a lawyer in private practice with McInnes Cooper in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island with over 20 years of legal experience. His legal practice focuses on corporate and business law, in particular mergers and acquisitions, secured financing, real estate transactions, corporate and tax restructuring, project financing, syndicated loan transactions, cross-border and asset-based lending transactions. He represents clients in matters involving financing, real estate, business purchases and sales, business start-ups and reorganizations, tax and estate planning.
Robert holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (University of Prince Edward Island), a Diploma in Public Administration (University of Prince Edward Island), a Master of Business Administration (Saint Mary's University) and a Bachelor of Laws (Dalhousie University).
Robert is a member and past President of the Law Society of Prince Edward Island, and is a member of the Canadian Bar Association and the Canadian Tax Foundation.
