Abstract

The article offers guidelines for choral teachers/choir directors on selecting the choral repertoire. It describes how attending choral reading sessions can give choral teachers/choir directors ideas for a repertoire. They can also get repertoire recommendations from colleagues or the choral community. Attending festivals and concerts also will allow choral teachers/choir directors to gauge the effectiveness or appropriateness of a repertoire. It recommends several publisher and composer Web sites.
