Abstract

The article presents a study on the use of knowledge exchange in school-based health promotion in Canada. It highlights the inability of youth health programs and policies stakeholders to engage youth in health promotion as well as offers a description of knowledge exchange and its role in a research process. The significance of postive role models and connections in schools to a student's overall health is discussed.
