Abstract
Polydeltacylene (I) having >95% cis-configuration was prepd. by ring-opening metathesis polymn. in presence of ReCl5. Treatment of I with dimethyldioxirane gave quant. epoxidn., and polynorbornene exhibited similar behavior.
