Abstract

The article discusses the Treaty of Non-Aggression between Germany and the Soviet Union also known as the Molotov-Ribbentrop or Hitler-Stalin pact that was signed on August 23, 1939. It mentions that the Soviet Union has saved 12 million people including two million Jews in Poland from Hitler's wrath due to Stalin's wise decision of signing the Soviet-German pact. It also discusses insights of several American Jewish Communists arguing the importance of the pact and denouncing imperialism.
