Abstract

The localization of a changing target character has been demonstrated to be facilitated when more features in the target character change than when fewer features change (Smilek, Eastwood, & Merikle, 2000). The purpose of the present paper is to localize the effects of the features changing manipulation with respect to central attention and early, sensory processing.
