Abstract

Administration of the petroleum ether extract of leaves of P. minima (collected from India) to female albino rats altered their regular cyclicity. Rats treated with the extract (p.o.) exhibited variations in uterine and ovarian weights and caused significant histopathological changes in the histoarchitecture of ovary, oviduct and uterus. Extract administration showed inhibitory effects of a transient nature..
