Abstract

This article discusses the occurrence and diagnosis of mycoplasma mastitis, particularly in Ohio, USA. Potential sources of infection are summarized. Antibiotics therapy has had limited success in the control of mycoplasma mastitis. Early diagnosis, followed by isolation or slaughter appears to be the most effective control measure..
