Heather holds a Diploma in Public Administration (UPEI), a Diploma in Business Information Systems Develop (Holland College) , as well as a Bachelor of Business Administration (UPEI) and Master of Business Administration (UPEI) degrees. A proud alumna, she is a past president of the UPEI Alumni Association and continues to represent the members of UPEI's first Executive MBA cohort as their class president.
Having worked in both private and public sectors, Heather brings experiences from her time with the Royal Bank of Canada, Bell Aliant and the Government of Prince Edward Island to her teaching. In addition to sharing her knowledge, she is interested in learning from today's students about the decisions they face as they transition out of undergraduate life – the theme of her graduate research.
She has been teaching at UPEI since 2011, having taught Introduction to Business and Canadian Business Culture and Introduction to Marketing.
