Biography

Associate Professor

BBA (UPEI); MBA (Saskatchewan)

Tim Carroll is an Associate Professor at the McDougall Faculty of Business teaching primarily in the Management area. His recent course offerings include Introduction to Business, Current Issues in Business, Business Research and Strategic Management. Professor Carroll offers seminars in creative thinking and conflict management. Professor Carroll has been with the School of Business since 1982. Prior to this, he taught at St. Francis Xavier University for two years. Prior to an academic career, he was manager of the Ontario Vegetable Board for five years and worked as a marketing consultant in Western Canada and P.E.I. He was a member of the Legislative Assembly of P.E.I. from 1986 to 1996 and served as Minister of Agriculture from 1986 to 1988. Professor Carroll's research interests include economics of small islands and economic sovereignty.
