BBA (UPEI); MP (Simon Fraser); CPA, CMA
I spend most of my time thinking about how to make learning more engaging, universal and interesting. I do this both in my primary occupation as an Instructional Designer, and also as an instructor at the University of Prince Edward Island. I am also interested in supporting and researching areas of social change, particularly around accessibility and neurodiversity; and particularly those kinds of changes that can be supported through enterprise and intersectional partnerships. I teach courses at UPEI of my own design in Modern Communications and social media; I've published an online literary magazine for more than 20 years; I write fiction, non-fiction, speeches, editorials and communications strategies for organizations and people in private and public life; and edit books, poems and stories for established and emerging writers. I am fortunate and grateful that I spend most of my professional time reading, writing, teaching and telling stories, surrounded by generous and talented people doing work I very much care about. I hold a Bachelor of Business (UPEI); a Master of Publishing (SFU) and the accounting designation of CPA, CMA.
